With the rising cost of food (and most everything else), I know that many of us are looking at what we can make at home to help with grocery costs.

There are so many things that you can make SIMPLY, that are so much healthier and more cost effective than what you would purchase at the store.

This granola? Is a prime example of that!

I hope that by reading this post, you get the courage to try making your own granola. I promise it’s simple and SO delicious!

Easiest Gluten Free Granola Recipe

The easiest gluten free granola recipe that is filled with protein, and only 5 simple ingredients and no refined sugar.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups walnuts
  • 1 cup rolled oats (make sure they're certified Gluten Free to make this a true Gluten Free recipe)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds (optional)
  • dash cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl

  3. Spread onto a baking tray covered with parchment paper

  4. Keep "clumps" of granola together when cooking, so you can enjoy larger chunks in your granola when you eat it. Don't spread it too thin!

  5. Cook for 20 minutes at 325. Then stir the granola.

  6. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes. Don't overcook it, but make sure it gets a little roasty!

And that’s it! So very simple and so nourishing. We love it sprinkled over (cashew) yogurt!

When we go on vacation, I make a double batch of this gluten free granola and bring it with us for a protein packed and healthy food to have on hand.
